For V12 Footwear, exhibiting at the 2025 Health and Safety Event at the NEC, Birmingham was a phenomenal experience. Over three days, we had the pleasure of connecting with thousands of Health and Safety Professionals, all dedicated to creating safer, healthier workplaces.
During the event, our stand became a hub of energy, insight and innovation, as we showcased the V12 Foot Health and Safety Solution: a range of award-winning footwear and accessories designed to reduce slips, improve comfort and increase safety compliance across industries. Here are just some of the highlights.
MAKING A STATEMENT WITH OUR BALLOON
We always like to make an entrance, and we certainly achieved that on the opening day at HSE 2025. Our hot air balloon is a really important company asset: not only does it show our commitment to supporting construction charity 'Band of Builders,' it says a lot about the reach and ambition of our brand. We aim high, we are mobile, and we're proud of our foot health and safety products and services, so we shout about them - quite literally - from the rooftops!
On the opening day of HSE 2025, our hot air balloon was looking both impressive and resplendent - and was definitely the main talking point for attendees.
Welcoming Our New Recruits
The Health and Safety Event 2025 was a really exciting exhibition for V12, as we got to introduce our new team of Business Development Managers. Full of energy, enthusiasm and teeming with knowledge and expertise, our new recruits are the latest addition to our campaign to reduce workplace injuries and maximise well-being - and they did a fantastic job.
“I couldn’t be prouder of both our stand and our team. People were genuinely excited about the V12 safety solution, and finding out what’s possible when you put foot health first is a really eye-opening prospect for any Health and Safety Professional."
Charlie Turner, Director.
SHOWCASING our innovations
The 2025 Health and Safety Event gave us the perfect opportunity to showcase our most exciting new safety footwear innovations, and get them firmly into the spotlight so they can become instrumental in improving workplace safety for new and existing V12 partners. And this year, we've been busy boot makers! Our relentless innovations in new designs and materials means we're constantly developing products: below are some of the new high-performing safety styles that we introduced to our range in 2025.
Valiant and Vanguard - DIALLED-IN COMFORT WITH BOA®
When it comes to our mission of maximising comfort through footwear innovation, there was definitely one brand we were very keen on working with to develop our most cutting-edge safety collection yet...
Making a splash: The V2420 Vanguard - the waterproof BOA® Fit System safety hi-leg
Developed with the micro-adjustable BOA® Fit System and using the latest in comfort technology, our Vanguard and Valiant safety boots are the next generation of protective footwear. Both lightweight and waterproof and made with premium full-grain leather, we've designed them to deliver the ultimate in comfort and protection. Learn more about the specs here.
Integrating a V12 style with the BOA® Fit System felt absolutely appropriate, because just like us, they are committed to optimising comfort through innovation.
The BOA® Fit System provides:
- Micro-adjustable, precision fit
- Even pressure distribution
- Customizable fit (even with gloves)
- Quick and easy on/off
- Increased stability
And with V12 Footwear's bespoke comfort last and IGSTM sole (a water-dispersing non-slip tread tested to perform on kennedy grating, chequer plating and scaffold board) the Vanguard and Valiant are at the forefront of safety. They push performance to the pinnacle, ensuring wearers get exactly what they need from their safety footwear: elevated comfort through innovation.
COMET - Safety Trainer Comfort AT THE outer limits
V12 Footwear's V2500 Comet is a safety trainer offering industry-leading comfort thanks to an innovative energy returning ETPU mid-layer.
ETPU gets its trademark ‘spring’ because when compressed (when the foot takes a step) the air-filled cells in the expanded beads absorb the energy, and when the pressure is released, they quickly expand back, releasing the stored energy. And this gives Comet wearers the ‘bounce’ they need to propel them forward. Find out more about this here.
And not only did we showcase this fantastic piece of safety footwear at HSE 2025, we also unveiled its waterproof cousin, Orbit.
Dynamic ArchTM Insoles - ARCH-SUPPORTING COMFORT
In the UK, according to NHS statistics, one in ten people suffer from Plantar Fasciitis - a painful and often debilitating condition affecting the foot's heel and arch.
For those working on their feet all day, this can lead to discomfort, fatigue, compromised well-being and lost productivity.
That’s why we designed the Dynamic Arch™, an insole developed with motion analysts and podiatrists which targets painful foot complaints like Plantar Fasciitis through:
- Bespoke arch support that cradles the foot
- Supportive materials to ease pressure and pain
- Shock-absorbing heel cups to minimize impact stress and reduce lower limb strain
Did You Know?
Workers may be more likely to develop Plantar Fasciitis if they:
- Wear shoes with poor cushioning or inadequate support
- Are aged between 40-60
For those suffering from foot pain, V12’s Dynamic Arch™ could be the key to unlocking comfort and support. Find out more here.
