It’s tough, comfortable and flexible, but it’s also **extremely lightweight** compared to other wellingtons on the market while remaining in the same price range.  ### HOW HAVE WE MADE IT LIGHTWEIGHT? - Groundworker's PU upper is **lighter** than standard rubber wellingtons - Groundworker’s **tear-resistant** Neoprene leg material is **significantly lighter** than rubber - Groundworker’s **composite midsole** provides an additional weight save ### WHY HAVE WE MADE IT LIGHTWEIGHT? A big problem people working in industries like construction and utilities face is that wellingtons are by nature, **heavy**. Groundworker comes with full-length removable comfort insoles, so underfoot cushioning is built-in. ###### CRACKING Cracking, particularly on the flex point of the boot is a common problem for wellington wearers, because when this occurs, it effectively spells the end of the boot’s life. When exposed to changes in temperature and other contaminants, cracking is a common issue with rubber, but Groundworker’s PU construction is much more durable and reliable.  ###### DELAMINATION Delamination is when the sole attachment comes away from the upper, and as well as being a trip hazard, this kind of damage also ends the boot’s life.
